Alan L. Becker DDS of Oak Park passed peacefully on April 23, 2026 at home with his wife at his side. Alan was married to Andrea for almost 56 years. Together they raised four great children, Chad (who passed away in 2016), Kirk (partner Michelle), Stephanie (Greg) and Blythe (Tyler). Grandchildren who will miss their Papa are Nadia, Ilyana, Jackson, Caroline, Charlotte, Nora, Emmett, Rhett and Phaedra. After teaching high school and junior college, he went on to become a dentist. Alan genuinely enjoyed the lab work and getting to know his patients. His interests included Jazz, photography, wood working, gardening and biking. Alan lived life with kindness and generosity. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Friendly Tap Community Room, 6733 Roosevelt Rd., Berwyn on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home.
