Alicia Lopez, nee Murillo, of Lombard, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Luis Lopez Sr.; loving mother of Estela Lopez and the late Luis Lopez Jr.; dear sister of Hermelinda (late Arturo) Pontoja, Genoveva Murillo, Teresa (Guadalupe) Gudino, Josefina (Carlos) Diaz, the late Roberto (late Trinidad) Murillo and the late Artemio (late Gaudalupe) Murillo: fond aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Alicia Lopez was a loving, caring and devoted mother to both of her children Luis (Chelis) and Estela. She devoted her entire life to her children. She was a person of faith and family. She was generous with her love to all who met her. She loved having her family over for dinners and coffee. She loved flowers and music. She found ways to overcome her challenges and lived life with gratitude for the big and small things. She leaves a legacy of love, family, gratitude and faith. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All to meet Saturday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Shriners Children's Hospital (www.shrinerschildrens.org) appreciated.
