Anthony Zumpano of La Grange Park, age 81. Beloved husband of Peggy, nee Tyszkiewicz; loving father of Sarah (Thomas) Miller, Janine (Rick) Morrissey, Tony (Megan) Zumpano, Carolyn (Adam) Surowka and Suzie (Greg) Baldwin; proud grandfather of Isaac, Corinna, Leo, Daniel, Delilah, Kristina, Breanne, Andrew, Nathan, Bennett and Cameron; dear brother of Sam (late Diana) Zumpano, Mary (Pete) Giraldi, Grace Zumpano and the late Bob (Judy) Zumpano; fond uncle of many. Anthony was a proud graduate of Steinmetz High School and the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign. He was a civil engineer for 35 years with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. Anthony was an avid sports fan, he loved movies, playing and teaching bridge and was a devout Catholic. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Louise de Marillac Church for a 11:00 a.m. Mass.
