Barbara J. Moreth, of Schaumburg, age 82. Cherished daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte Moreth; dear sister of Joyce (the late James) McGuinness; fond aunt of Mary (Evan Jones) McGuinness, John McGuinness, Patricia McGuinness, Michelle (Ian Agol) McGuinness and Michael McGuinness; great-aunt of Finley Jones, Talia Agol and Seamus and Margaret McGuinness.

A graduate of Madonna High School, Chicago, Barbara spent many years working in the retail and corporate world before returning to academia, earning an associate's degree from Triton College, River Grove, IL. Barb so loved Triton that she began working there in July 2009 as a program assistant in the financial aid department. After 16 years of devoted service, she retired in August 2025. Outside of work, Barb was known for her innovative decorating ideas and her devotion to the welfare of others.

All to meet Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at St. Giles Church, 1045 Columbian Ave., Oak Park, for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Private interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
