Bessie Ntovas, nee Magafas, born in Archeo Feneos, Greece, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Mike; loving mother of Theodora (Ray) Ntovas-Roth and Bill (Jennifer) Ntovas; proud grandmother of Sophia and Emily Ntovas; dear sister of Vasilios (Soula) Magafas, Venettia (late George) Dracopoulos, the late Kosta, Ageliki and Elefeteria; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Bessie was many things, among her wonderful qualities, she was courageous, trustworthy, loving, kind, selfless, had a great sense of humor, and always did "the right thing." At the age of 28, she immigrated from Greece to the United States alone with the sponsorship of her uncle Harry Magafas and his family, with whom she initially lived. She then attended night school to learn how to speak English and acquaint herself with America. Bessie was the greatest example of a "Children First Parent"; we always knew we were loved and came first in her life. She navigated our family through difficult times, she was our "rock." We were blessed to have her as our mom, she was a beautiful person. Thank you, Mom, we love you! Everyone will meet on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 W.
