Betty J. Baur, nee Steiskal, of Lyons, age 82. Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Baur, Sr.; loving mother of Brenda (John) Horak, Frank Baur, Jr. and Angie Baur; proud grandmother of Amy (Mike) DeLance; great-grandmother of Logan DeLance; dear sister of Joseph (Sally) Steiskal, Dorothy (Chuck) Olson; preceded in death by her siblings, James Steiskal, Mary (late Ray) Demith, Robert (late Martha) Steiskal, Frank Steiskal, Alice (late Jerry) Wright, Barbara (Dennis) Sikora and Richard Steiskal; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She loved her many friends as her family including her Card Club Sisters of the Heart and her "work posse". Betty was a longtime Catering Manager at the Brookfield Zoo, a devoted, retired Crossing Guard for the Village of Lyons and was an avid reader and gardener. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W.
