Obituary

Boris Anisi, of La Grange, formerly of Berwyn, age 90.  Boris proudly served in the Army and is a Korean War Veteran, owner of A. Anisi Wafer Company (Anisi Honey Wafers) for over 50 years and an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan.  Beloved husband of Mary Ann, nee Zeman; loving father of Linda (John) Brooks, Karen (Marc) Sperber and Jim (Tracey) Anisi; proud grandfather of Katie (Michael) Fitzgerald, John , Jr. (Claire) Brooks and Margaret Brooks, Iris, Joey and Sophie Sperber and Maddie, Ellie and Jay Anisi; great-grandfather of William and Ava Fitzgerald and Evelyn, Emma and Lily Brooks; dear brother of Annie (Vince) DePinto, Mary Anisi and preceded in death by siblings Christ (Irene) Anisi, Angie (late David) Purkey and  Rose (late William) Garippo; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place privately in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
