Candy was raised by her mom and dad in Cicero, IL, along with her four siblings. She was a graduate of St. Frances of Rome, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Morton College. As a teen, Candy met the love of her life Sean, and they were married for 40 wonderful years. The love she had for her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren was limitless.
Throughout her life, Candy enjoyed travel, whether a road trip to a National Park or abroad exploring her Czech and Irish roots. She liked to shop, thrift, and find a good deal. Many weekends and summers were spent at the family home on Magician Lake in Michigan, where Candy was an avid slalom skier. She loved music and going to concerts, often finding a closer seat. She was a volunteer Instructor, Physical Director, and most recently served as 2nd Vice President.
