Cathie Jahaske, nee Rice, of Westchester, age 70. Beloved wife of the late Norman; loving daughter of the late June Franson; dear sister of Susan Rice, the late James Rice and the late Earl Rice Jr.; cherished sister-in-law of Judith Ziemba and Paul (late Vickie) Jahaske; fond aunt of Scott Ziemba; Tim and Michael Jahaske; Jeremy and Casey Robbins and Ashley and Earl "Wesley" Rice III. Cathie was a cat mom of Cubbles, Oreo, Lucy, Desi and Wrigley and she was an avid Cubs fan. She loved country music and other genres and enjoyed local outdoor concerts with friends. Cathie was a "foodie," especially when it came to dessert. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Saturday, September 7, 2024 for a Memorial Visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of Chapel Service 4:30 p.m. Interment private.
