Celeste C. Nichol, nee Nigro, of Westchester formerly of Oak Park, age 88 passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late James; loving mother of Debbie (John) DeBlok, Daniel (Irene), William (Sandy), Joanne (Jon) Evans, James Jr. (Mary) and Robert (Kimberly); proud grandmother of Jennifer, Michael, Kevin, Michael, Jonathan, Alexander, Kelly, Gina, Jorie, Billy, Marley, Allison, Scott, Brian, Cristie, David, Zachary, Nathan and Natasha; great-grandmother of 17; great-great-grandmother of 4. Celeste was a devoted mother and loved time with her family. She enjoyed almost 30 years of retirement with her husband traveling extensively. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W.
