Christina I. Parrales born on January 18, 1933 in Honey, Estado de Hidalgo, Mexico, she was the first daughter born to Jose Maria Maldonado and Francisca Ibarra. Christina was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Julio Parrales and leaves behind her loving children Lilia Parrales Wichert and Marco (Antoinette) Parrales. She was also preceded in death by her son Raul and daughter-in-law Joan Parrales. She also leaves behind her children Julieta (Alfredo) Cisneros, Edward Parrales, and Christina (Aberado) Gonzalez. She has many grandchildren Thomas Wichert, Joseph Wichert, Aleksandra Cisneros, Alfred Cisneros, Alain Cisneros, Alonso Cisneros, Gabriella and Julian Gonzalez. Christina was also the last surviving in-law from her husband's family of 11 brothers and sisters. Christina retired from Lucent Technologies, Lisle, IL at the age of 65 after 31 years of service beginning at the Western Electric plant at the Hawthorne Works in Cicero, IL. Her priorities in life were her family, her home and the support of her husband's sports related endeavors. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Louise de Marillac Church for a 10:30 Mass.
