Christos Basil Natsis of Western Springs, age 91. Born July 26, 1933 in Konitsa, Greece, passed away at home on February 27, 2025. He will be missed by his wife Euthymia "Mimi", nee Stavrianou; loving father of Martha Elena (Adolph) Galinski, Maria Niobe – Sister Antonia and Achilles Mark (Vicki) Natsis; proud grandfather of Anastasia, Adolph, Christos, Matthew, Stavros, Zoe, and Maria; dear brother of Marina Natsis and Lina Thodos; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Christos received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Polytechnic School of Athens, his Master's from IIT and his PhD. from ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. He worked as a chemical engineer in the field of lubrication for several companies including Conoco-DuPont. Christos traveled around the country for his work and traveled with his family to Greece and other countries. He enjoyed gardening, golf, and entertaining family and friends with dinner parties. He was a member of Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church since the 1970's. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. Wolf Road in Westchester from 9:30 am. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 am. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
