Gallios

Park Ridge
Constance "Connie" Gallios, nee Tressa, of Park Ridge, age 85. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Van A. Gallios; loving mother of Georganne (Jose) Lopez, Harry E. (Sue) Gallios, and Andrew E. (Kerry) Gallios; proud grandmother of Brynn, Elijah, Julia & Melinda Lopez and Evangeline, Jack, & James Gallios; dear sister of Andrew J. (late Deanie) Tressa III, Jerome P. (Nancy) Tressa, Linda T. (late Dan) LeClaire, the late Barry L. Tressa and the late Marsha J. Tressa; cherished daughter of the late Mildred and Andrew Tressa; fond aunt, cousin and lifelong friend to many.
Nobody loved life more than Connie did, so it is with heavy heart that we announce her passing on June 18, 2024. Connie was born on Mother's Day, May 12, 1939, to Mildred (Plaski) and Andrew Tressa, Jr. in Brownsville, PA. Connie lived and worked briefly in Pittsburgh then Hollywood, CA, when she made the decision to move to Chicago. It was there that a coworker and friend introduced her to her future husband, Van A. Gallios. Together they lived in Park Ridge. They traveled the world and shared many happy memories along the way with both family and friends. No matter where Connie went, there was always someone who recognized "Big Red!" Before Connie left the workforce to start a family, she was employed by Booth Fisheries and the Chicago White Sox.
