Daniel Luke Murphy of Forest Park, age 70. Beloved son of Thomas L. and the late Joan, nee Gannon; dear brother of Marie Murphy, Sean (Cathy) Murphy, Nancy (Dan) Cusack, Sheila (Irv Gilner) Murphy and the late Cornelius Murphy; fond uncle of Finnegan and Siena Gilner; cherished cousin and friend of many.

Dan was a gentle soul who enjoyed the simple joys of life.  He was an avid reader, he loved to cook for friends and family particularly weekly meals for his aging parents.  He enjoyed fishing, road trips on his Harley Davidson, spending time in nature with his dogs, trying new restaurants and making cider. Dan was a 50 year plus employee of UPS.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Jimmy's Place, 7411 Madison Street, Forest Park from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Anti-Cruelty Society (www.anticruelty.org) appreciated.
