Danilo Soto of North Riverside, age 89. Beloved husband of Nell, nee Ella; loving father of Lenard (Christina) Soto, Nelyn (Charlie) Changchien and Emric Soto; proud grandfather of Joseph, Katrina, Hadrian, Andrew and Riley; dear brother of many; fond uncle of many.

Born in the Philippines in 1936, Dan immigrated to Chicago and quickly embraced the local sports teams, especially his beloved Cubs and Bears. Dan was always there to cheer on his kids in whatever activity they were involved in with a broad smile on his face. In addition to raising his family, he also was an avid gardener and golfer, willing to play no matter Chicago's extreme temperatures. He will always be loved and cherished by his family.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. proceeding to Mater Christi Church for a 12:00 noon Funeral Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
