Obituary

Diana was a woman who was difficult to capture in just a few words. She was glamorous and particular, funny and magnetic, with a presence that people remembered. She loved beautiful things, Hollywood, books, and a good story, and she moved through life with a style that was unmistakably her own.

But above all, Diana was deeply loved. She was a wife, mother, and the center of a family whose story included tremendous love, perseverance, joy, and loss. Her daughter lovingly called her “Diana the Great”—not because her life was perfect, but because she was singular. There was only one Diana. Her family will miss her voice, her humor, her stories, and all the little things that made her unmistakably herself. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will continue long after her passing.Diana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy L. Daniel Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Teishetta Daniel; her son, Nicholas Daniel, and his wife, Monica; her grandchildren, Dominic Daniel and Ashley Biggers; her brother, Leon Elkins; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Noris Daniel; her brother-in-law, Eddie Daniel; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
