Edward F. Kelly of La Grange, formerly of North Riverside, age 83. Dearest friend and former spouse of Marie, nee Hurley, Kelly; beloved father of Colleen (Robert) Bartik, David (Jeanne) Kelly, Alicia (Daniel) Shereck, Mary (Bruce) Nevers and Eileen (Pablo) Venturini; preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Kelly and Catherine "Sis" Kelly (nee Maher); proud grandfather of Kathleen and Daniel Bartik; Brendan, Ryan (fiancée Ella Sperry), and Aidan Kelly; Margaret, Kathleen Mary and Bridget Shereck; Michael and Sophie Nevers and Evan and Nora Venturini; dear brother of Bernard Peter (Fran) Kelly. Edward was a proud graduate of St. Mary School of Riverside, St. Ignatius College Prep and the University of Detroit. He was former Board President of Saint Labre Condo Association. He loved reading, all genres of music and mostly spending time with his children and 12 grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Church, Riverside for 10:30 a.m. Mass.
