Ella Louise
Patterson
Feb 23, 1959 — Apr 5, 2024
Chicago
In Loving Memory of Ella L. Patterson February 23, 1959 - April 5, 2024 Ella L. Patterson, a beacon of love, laughter, and resilience, departed this world on April 5th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Louise Jimo and Arthur Patterson Jr., Ella brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered. Ella's journey was marked by her dedication to her family and her work. For years, she served diligently as the assistant manager at RJB Property Services, pouring her heart into her role until her health no longer permitted. But beyond her professional achievements, Ella's true passions lay in music and dance. Her spirit would light up any room as she swayed to the rhythm, spreading joy with each step. As a mother and grandmother, Ella was unparalleled. Her son, Virgilio Muniz (JJ), and grandchildren, Jaylen and Jay, were the center of her world. She showered them with boundless love, laughter, and wisdom, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Ella's siblings, Arthur III, Terry, and Jimmy along with her nephews Nicole, Arthur IV, Terry Jr., and grand-niece Hallaia, were all blessed to have her as a guiding light in their lives. Ella's circle of love extended far and wide, embracing cousins Cheryl, Patty, Annamarie, Tiasha, Michael, and numerous other relatives and friends. Her infectious laughter and witty humor brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. Though she faced many challenges, Ella approached life with unwavering strength and courage. She was a fighter, confronting adversity with grace and determination. As we bid farewell to Ella in this earthly realm, we take solace in knowing that she has been called to a place of eternal peace and joy. In the words of Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, "For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted." May Ella's memory be a blessing, and may her spirit find rest in the embrace of God's everlasting love. Amen.
