It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Evan Westerberg on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at the age of 30. He grew up in the North Shore area of Chicago with his Mom, Dad, siblings and loving pup, Pepper. A graduate of New Trier High School, Evan's kind-hearted soul always loved to be of service to others. He enjoyed his time meditating, walking on the prairie path, reading, listening to music, cooking and playing video games. His favorite stories were Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and the Supernatural series. An original artist of great talent, Evan created many beautiful drawings where he spilled his soul out into the world. He loved nature and going on adventures. He was an incredibly deep thinker, a devoted son, and a loving brother.

Evan is survived by many loving family members:

Devoted son of Elsa (Rick) Siwicki and Kenneth Westerberg. Cherished grandson of the late Ken and Elizabeth Westerberg, late Theresa Vera, and the late Mary Ramirez Arroyo. Loving brother of Freddie Brown II, Brandon (Kristin) Westerberg, Tori Westerberg, Ryan (Nathalie) Westerberg and Andrew Mackey. Proud uncle of Ezra. Fond nephew of Susan (Joel) Hernandez, Annette Jones, late Wendy Westerberg, Chris (Flaco) Medina, Belinda Vargas, Johnny (Tina) Ramirez, Ruben Ramirez, Marie Lopez, late Jose Lopez and sadly missed by many loving family and friends.
