Francis "Frank" Grill, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his home. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Frank was a loving husband to Katherine (née Bender), father to Frank (Julie), Mary Chris, Kimberly (Mike), Danielle, Genny (Dave), Joe (Maggie), Ryan (Ashley), Zach (Nicole), loving grandfather to 23, and uncle to many. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Rita and Marion, wife Kathleen (née Talaber), and son-in-law Matt Engels.

Frank was a longtime resident of Westchester and a proud graduate of Fenwick High School and continued on to St. Benedict's College where he played football. Frank was well known and respected in the Divine Infant golf and bowling leagues, men's club, and as their football coach for many years.

He will be remembered by many for his colorful commentary on life as well as his smile. Later in life, Frank had a true appreciation for his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending his final days with them and his beloved wife Kate.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Divine Infant Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment private.
