Frederick "Rick" Mandac, Jr., of Oak Lawn, age 66 passed away suddenly of natural causes on April 17, 2023. Loving father of Lauren (Jason) Girardin and Jessica (TJ) Winkowski; proud grandfather of Theo and Aria Girardin and Baby Girl Winkowski on the way; dear brother of Alan (Sheila) Mandac; preceded in death by siblings Sheri (Alan) Christensen and Scott Mandac; fond former spouse of Deborah Mandac; dear uncle of Alyssa (Zac) Filip and Marcus Christensen.

Rick had many different skills and talents allowing him the opportunity for several different career paths over the years, but his most favorite and valued was that of father and grandfather. He loved to play, sing, and dance with his grandchildren, and he taught his daughters what true, unconditional love was. Whether you knew Rick well or came in contact with him just briefly, you knew a man that was constantly full of positivity, light, and laughter. He always knew the exact words to make everything better. He was a listener and a teacher. Rick impacted the lives of so many and will forever shine in the memories he left behind. A private visitation was held for the family. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 21, 2023, from 5 – 8 PM at Chicago Highlands Country Club, 2 Bluebird Trail Westchester, IL 60154.
