Irene Marie Peters, (nee Martin) age 98, of Naperville, formerly Western Springs. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Peters. Loving mother of Dennis (Sheila), Timothy (Patricia) and Kevin (Linda) Peters. Proud grandmother of Sarah (Jonathan) Burge, Esther (Riqui) Villarreal, Jeremy (Alyssa) Peters, Kristine (Joseph) Kazanovski, Kimberly (Tony) Faltin, Timothy (Sabrina) and Nicolas; dearest great-grandmother of Josiah, Naomi, Elias, Hannah, Faith, Micah, Shiloh and Asher Burge, Emory, Elio and Everette Villarreal, Noah and Grace Peters, Alice and Ian Kazanovski, Eleanor, Anthony and Jack Faltin and Lana Jaszi.

Irene was a wonderful hostess who welcomed all into her home. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, crossword puzzles and books. She enjoyed classical music especially concerts at Ravinia.  Mom and Dad loved trips to the great gardens we have in Chicago.  Irene was an artist and a seamstress. Mom had a great circle of friends and dearly enjoyed their friendship.  She loved to host parties for her friends and family. Everyone who knew Mom, knew of her vitality and love of life, she was caring for all.  Most of all she loved her family, alongside daily shopping trips.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Road, Westchester, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 11:00 a.m. Interment  Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
