James Patrick McNamee of Westchester, age 81. Proud U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved son of the late James and Geraldine McNamee; dear brother of Mary Elizabeth Gregg and Nancy (Dennis) Schaper; fond uncle of Michael Shaper, Susan Robinson, Mark (Jennifer) Schaper and John (Rebeca) Gregg. James was known as the neighborhood gardener. He enjoyed distributing tomatoes to his friends and neighbors. He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing on Lake Michigan. He was the proud owner of a horse named Eleanor and her baby, Choo Choo. He mucked the stalls and took care of them both. All will meet on Friday May 3, 2024 at 9:45 a.m. at the office of Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, Il. and then proceed to the grave for graveside committal services.
