James Bruce Morgan of North Riverside, IL age 69 passed away on February 9, 2024 suddenly. Beloved husband of Mary, nee Kearins; loving father of James Ambrose (Kimberly) Morgan and Kelli (Anthony) Nesbitt; proud grandfather of Troy, Mackenzie, Anthony and Mason; dear brother of Annie (late John) Arrigo, Denise (late Bob) Sidlo, Bob (Kerry) Morgan and the late Rhoda Morgan; fond brother-in-law and uncle of many.

Bruce was born in Chicago on April 2,1954 and grew up in Oak Park, IL. He graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1972 and then worked at Foley/Rice Cadillac as a service writer while earning several automotive accreditations. His passions included cultivating his summer garden and instructing softball and baseball athletes through Strikes Academy in Broadview for over 30 years. Bruce coached numerous Windmills teams and helped secure colleges scholarships for many players.

The driving force in Bruce's life was his family and his devotion to his wife, children and his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Italian American Club of Berwyn, 6710 16th Street, Berwyn. Interment private. Please omit flowers. Arrangements entrusted to Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home. For info 708-F-U-N-E-R-A-L.
