(Ashley) Rocotello, Jr. Proud grandfather of Veronica A. Alfred, Jacklyn R. Alfred, Haley M. Sweatman, Anthony J. Wright and Isabella R. Rocotello. Dear brother of the late Ralph (Cindy) Bucci, Angela (Dominic) Jankowski and Robert (Dalia) Rocotello. Fond uncle of Lauren Jankowski, Michael McClellan, Kevin (Krista) Bucci and Amanda (Tim Schuda) Bucci; great-uncle of Elliana and Silvia Bucci and Colbie and Riley Schuda.
Jim loved his family, baseball, and his car! While driving may not have been his occupation of choice, in retirement, he often found himself driving his family (especially his grandchildren) to where they needed to go, often getting them there well before they needed to arrive. He was not a follower; he made his own decisions about what he liked and stood by them, though he did say that, because he loved baseball so much (an avid Sox Fan), he would even go to a Cubs game. He was a quiet man, but was always ready and willing to share his opinion, especially with his children (and grandchildren), who often rolled their eyes. He showed his love not in an overtly affectionate way, but in how he was there for and supported the people that he loved. His grandchildren were his joy; he attended many choral, band, and orchestra concerts, football games to watch the marching band, and soccer, softball, and basketball games to support his grandchildren in their many endeavors, and was so proud of their accomplishments. He attended every graduation and beamed with pride as they walked across the stage. He loved by being supportive and showing up when he was needed.
