James G. Taccola, age 27 of Riverside, IL passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Jimmy was the beloved son of James and Marylou. Beloved grandson of Jane (the late Gerald) Taccola, and the late Francisco (the late Delfina) Reveles. Beloved brother to Richard, Stephanie, Monique, and Julie. Beloved nephew, uncle, and cousin to many family members. Growing up, Jimmy attended Riverside-Brookfield High School and shortly thereafter, served honorably in the Navy for 4 years. Jimmy loved fishing, gaming, watching football, and loved using his hands, doing anything mechanical that he could put together. Jimmy loved all animals and nature, especially his dog, Luna. Jimmy was a survivor. He started life at two and a half pounds, and although he had many obstacles in his life, he always fought through and did the best he could with the circumstances given to him. Jimmy was deeply loved, and he will be missed. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd. Westchester (2 blocks west of Mannheim Rd.) for visitation on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Monday November 18, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
