Janet Joy of Westchester, age 82. Cherished partner of Paula Cyphers; beloved daughter of the late Walter & Margaret Joy; loving sister of Virginia (James) Bachmann, Michael Joy and the late Margaret Barrett; adored aunt and great-aunt of many. Janet had a life of service as a former Daughter of Charity from 1958 to 1969 and worked as a social worker for 33 years with the developmentally disabled working with what is now known as Envision Unlimited. She was a devoted and loving friend to many. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Divine Providence Church, 2550 Mayfair, Westchester on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Private interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
