Joanne F. Monahan, nee Frank, of Bartlett, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Patrick J. (Laurette) Monahan and Holly Monahan; proud grandmother of Patrick (Angelika), Sean, Caleigh and Lindsey; great-grandmother of Maya and Lena; dear sister of Margaret (Robert) Bonomo, Mariellyn (Frank) Siciliano and the late Richard (Kathy) Frank; fond aunt of many.

Known to her family and friends as Mom, Joanne, Auntie Jo, Grandma, Gigi and "Hostess with the Mostess", she will be remembered for her charming wit and feisty nature. With her special knack for bringing people together, she treated everyone like family. She always made the simplest gathering a special and memorable occasion. She gave new meaning to the word festive, and she taught us that you can never over-decorate and that coordinating napkin rings are always appropriate.

She was steadfast in her love of God, Christmas and peanut butter. She will be tremendously missed by family and friends alike, but we're all better people for having known her. She has enriched our lives with endless fun and treasured, loving memories.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. All to meet Monday at St. Giles Church, 1045 Columbian Ave., Oak Park for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass.
