John Dorsch, age 79, of Westchester, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025.

Born August 16, 1946 in Chicago to the late Louis and Madlyn (McCorkle) Dorsch. John grew up in a close and loving family. He graduated from Wells High School before proudly joining the United States Marine Corps. After completing his military service, John worked with the teamster trucker's union until he retired.

Throughout his life, John shared deep and meaningful relationships. John married Mary (Zelek) Dorsch in 1997. They remained devoted partners until his passing. He was previously married to Darlene Dorsch, who preceded him in death.

John will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He is lovingly survived by his children, Lisa and Jennifer and his step-daughter Cheryl (Robert) Hozian. Proud grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle of many.

He is deeply missed by his siblings Ann (the late Boyce) Bryson and Barbara Dorsch, and is preceded in death by Mary (John) Kwit and Bill Dorsch.

John will be fondly remembered for his steady presence, his quiet strength, and the deep love he held for his family. His legacy lives on in all who were fortunate to know him.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 12:00 noon. Interment private. For funeral info 708-F-U-N-E-R-A-L.
