Judy Rospenda, a remarkable 61-year-old resident of Woodridge, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 6th 2024.

Born on November 15, 1962, Judy was the beloved daughter of Dolores Rospenda (deceased). Judy is survived by brothers Michael, his wife Melissa, and son Sam, Christopher, his wife Maria, and their two sons Matthew and Jonathan.  Judy is also survived by two sisters, by other mothers, Donna Knight and Mary McCurrie, and Godson Alex Knight and her beloved feline companion, Charlie.

A true fighter, she was a cancer survivor whose unwavering spirit inspired countless others.

Judy dedicated her life to the American Cancer Society, serving as a passionate advocate. She mentored incoming legislative ambassadors, empowering them to actively participate in lobby days and legislative campaigns. Additionally, she developed innovative programs aimed at addressing health disparities and improving the quality of life for cancer patients.

Judy's unwavering commitment and extensive experience made her an invaluable asset to the American Cancer Society-TEAM ILLINOIS! Her tireless efforts and infectious optimism made her a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who knew her.

In addition, Judy is survived by all those she met along her journey—her friends, close companions, and the countless individuals whose lives she touched. She leaves behind many cherished memories and lasting connections that will continue to inspire and enrich those who knew her.

Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for a Celebration of Life from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m with a Chapel Service at 7:00 p.m. Interment private.
