Julia Anne Pfeiffer "Julie" passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 79.  Julie was born on September 21, 1943 to Grace Lucille (Dolciamore) and Leslie Marvin Pfeiffer in Chicago, IL.  She was the eldest of five children.  Julie was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Edward Pfeiffer and Louis Pfeiffer and her uncle the late Most Reverend John V. Dolciamore.  She is survived by her sister Janet McGoldrick and brother Joseph Pfeiffer.  Julie never married - her cats and dogs were her dearest companions.  She was also surrounded by love from her nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, godchildren, and all her cousins.  Julie was the matriarch of the Dolciamore family.

Julie graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1961 and continued her studies at St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing.  During her career, she was promoted to Head Nurse in the Orthopedic Unit at St. Anne's Hospital, the very same hospital she was born in.  After the hospital closed, she moved on as the Geriatrics Nurse at Oak Park Hospital where she retired in 2008.

Julie's fondest memories include spending numerous vacations with her best friend, Joanne on Sanibel Island – her favorite place on Earth.  Another cherished vacation was to Italy where she attended a mass at the Vatican, was blessed by Pope John Paul II, and even kissed his ring.  During this trip, she as well as her Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin visited descendant relatives in Giovinazzo, Italy.

Julie will be buried together with her beloved pets' ashes alongside family at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. proceeding to Divine Providence Church for an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
