Kenneth J. Hebenstreit Jr., age 74, United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran-1st 8' inch Howitzer Battalion 1969-1970, lifelong resident of Lyons. Devoted son of the late Kenneth J. Hebenstreit MD and Helena (nee Pytel) Hebenstreit, RN. Dear brother of Lenore Repel, Grace Brummel, the late Julia Hebenstreit, the late William Hebenstreit, Janet Tavakoli, Patricia (Lowell) Sevening-Killion, Mark Hebenstreit and Mary Katherine Hebenstreit. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ken was a proud US Marine and a former crossing guard at St. Barbara Church. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Funeral Saturday 10:00am until 11:30am prayers proceeding from the funeral home to St. Barbara Church (Holy Guardian Angels Parish), Brookfield for 12:00 noon Funeral Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
