A MEMORIAL MASS HAS BEEN SCHEDULED AT ST. MARY CHURCH

ON SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2026 AT 10:00 A.M.

Kevin Alan Tabor, 70, of Riverside, Illinois, passed away on April 30, 2026. He was born on October 1, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Robert and Rita Tabor, and was raised in Wheaton. He attended Wheaton North High School and graduated from Benedictine University. A devout Catholic, Kevin gave back through church involvement, charities, and community-focused events, reflecting a life grounded in faith and service. He forged lifelong friendships through his love of basketball and competitive sports.

Kevin built a career in sales across software, printing, and manufacturing, where he was known for his ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships. He was a fixer, a communicator, and someone others could always rely on.

Kevin will be remembered for his outgoing personality, warm presence, and playful sense of humor. He showed love through action—always helping, fixing, and showing up when people needed him. He also enjoyed a good cigar, often shared in good company.

He adored his wife, Terri, and was deeply proud of their 45 years of marriage. Together, they built a full and happy life, growing a beautiful family and sharing it with treasured friends. They gave back generously to everyone who was part of their lives. They spent their time bonding over charity events at St. Mary's Church and enjoying time with their closest friends and family.

Kevin was a devoted father to Christopher (Rebecca), Stephen (Emily), Bryan (Caitlin), and Joanne (Nicholas) Falk. He was involved in every aspect of their lives from day one and especially loved coaching them in various sports.

Later in life, his greatest joy was being a grandfather. He cherished his eight grandchildren—Maddox, Hendrix, Myles, Lincoln, Elora, Cameron, Quinn, and Theodore—and treasured every moment spent with them, never passing up an opportunity to be together.

He was one of four brothers and is survived by Larry (Barb), Patrick (Lisa), and James (Amy), and was a proud and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, with whom he shared special relationships he held close to his heart.

Kevin is remembered most of all for his generosity, humor, faith, and steady presence. He was the kind of man who simply showed up for people without hesitation. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
