Lillian Klippel, 96, of Westchester, Illinois died peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025. Lillian was born on October 21,1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Kristina Hlapcik Malek. It was there in Chicago that she married the late Fred Klippel. She was an active member of the Westchester Community Church and participated in many craft shows sharing her incredible talents. She also spent time volunteering at the LaGrange Hospital bringing sunshine to others with her loving smile and infectious laugh. She was blessed with a big family and talked fondly of the wonderful memories shared with her siblings who preceded her in death, Frances (Edward) Dempsey, James (Helen) Malek, Emily (Anton) Valek, and John (Johnny) Malek. She is the fond aunt of, Cheryl (the late John) Reynolds, Jimmy (the late Linda) Malek, Ronnie Malek, James (Eileen) Valek, Peggy (the late Robert) Zych, Tony Valek, Cherryl (Kenneth) Hartman and the late Bernie Dempsey. Auntie Lil, or Auntie Little, as she came to be known, was a very cherished great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She shared a wonderful friendship with Wayne Larson and his family in her golden years of life. She also loved her little dog FiFi and her beautiful bird collection - both of which brought her great joy. She will be truly missed. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Monday 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. proceeding to Westchester Community Church for a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service.
