Lonnie H. Davis, Sr. age 75, of Westchester, formerly of Berwyn, IL. Passed away on March 12, 2025. Born on January 27, 1950 to Lyle H. Davis, Sr. and Marie "Midge" (nee Russo) Davis in Hinsdale, IL.  Lonnie was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and brother who enjoyed quality time spent with family and friends. Lonnie took pleasure in the simple things in life: fishing, camping, taking a few group cruises with friends, Country-Western music, Country-Western dancing with the same group of friends and can't forget karaoke singing a song or two. He was active in former Troop #31 of Berwyn, with his three sons, having served as Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster. He loved instructing County-Western dances with his wife at various venues. He worked 26 years at the former Templeton-Kenly Company in Broadview, as a machinist and then as a Production Foreman. Lonnie married his loving wife 56 years ago on July 6, 1968 right out of high school, proving some young marriages do workout; even if life is like the Alan Jackson song "Livin' on Love."

Lonnie is survived by his wife Colette (nee Solberg) Davis, sons Ross, Sr. (Nicole) and Joseph, loving grandfather of Kyle, Kaitlyn, Konnor, Giles, Ross, Jr., Rachael and Sawyer. Beloved brother of Marlene (Sam) Procopio, Mickey (Sharon), Linda (Lou Scaramuzzo) Gagliano, and Penny (Bill) Darnell and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Lonnie, Jr., daughter Monica Davis-Grund and his brothers Charles, Lyle, Jr. and Glen. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 from 4: 00p.m to 7:00p.m. at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 Blks. W. of Mannheim Rd) Westchester, IL.
