Marie A. Molenda (nee Fridrich), passed away November 28, 2023, at the age of 76. Preceded in death by her husband Martin. Her life is celebrated by her loving sons, Jeffrey, and Timothy (Pauline) and three wonderful grandkids, Brittany, Zachary, and Madison. She also is survived by her younger sisters, Louise (Ben) Molenda and Theresa (Edward) Verdone and younger brother, Louis (Patricia) Fridrich. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Carol (Edward) Mizwicki and her younger brother, Dean Fridrich. She was also loved by several nephews and friends.  She was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Frances (nee Bulas) Fridrich. Marie (a.k.a. Cookie) loved her family, all dogs and cats and had a green thumb when it came to house and garden plants.  She also loved reading mystery books, and watching crime show tv programs, often with a glass of her favorite blush wine ("pink juice"). Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Wednesday December 6, 2023, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. All will meet Thursday for 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Odilo Catholic Church, 2244 East Ave., Berwyn. Marie attended St. Odilo before she moved to Arizona with her eldest son to enjoy the warm weather. Interment will take place immediately following mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
