Mark L. Josephs of West Roxbury, MA, formerly of Western Springs, IL, age 57. A University of Michigan graduate, Mark earned his law degree at Northwestern University. He used his knowledge of the law to help people – from mentoring young disadvantaged teenagers to winning a case against a drug maker that resulted in a $750 million dollar fine – the largest fine ever assessed at that point in time. After 17 years in the US Department of Justice, Mark developed his own private law firm in the Boston, MA area. For the last two years he has been Deputy General Counsel for Life MD.
