Mary "Molly" Wright, nee Palen, of Glendale Heights passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2024, at the age of 80.

Molly was the beloved wife of Wilfred Wright of Glendale Heights.  She was a loving mother to Brian (Rose) Wright and a loving step-mother to Wayne (Yvette).  Molly was loving and dear to her former daughter-in-law, Jenifer Hansel. She was a proud and loving Grammie of Whitney, Norah (Oli), and Lilly Wright.

Molly graduated from her beloved Mundelein College and was a teacher and counselor in Chicago Public Schools for over 40 years. She dedicated her beautiful heart and mind to the children of Chicago for all those years always giving extra effort to ensure every child was cared for. She loved the theater as well, but most of all she loved people. She took care of us all. Molly was always there for everyone. If you needed anything she took care of you in whatever way you needed her. Even when you didn't know you needed it. She is deeply missed by a great many.

Molly was a dear sister to Ann McGlynn (Dick), Charity Cooper (Michael), and John Palen (Karen).  She was a fond aunt to many.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Joseph Palen, and siblings David Palen, Peter Palen and Sara Clark David.

There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 10:00am at Divine Providence Church 2550 Mayfair Ave Westchester, IL 60154.
