Matthew F. Egan, age 56, of Riverside. Devoted son of Barbara (nee McGovern) and the late Bernard Egan. Loving brother of Christopher Egan and Brian (Veronica) Egan. Proud uncle of Samuel and Fiona Egan. Matt was a 1986 graduate of Riverside-Brookfield HS and attended Hocking College in Ohio.  Matt loved all Chicago sports teams but especially the Cubs and most recently the Blackhawks.  He enjoyed watching American Idol and the Voice. Matt will be remembered as a fantastic uncle who took an active role in the lives of his niece and nephew. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Rd, Westchester on Wednesday February 28, 2024 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Funeral Thursday 9:15a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Church in Riverside for 10:00 a.m. Mass.
