Michael J. Geary, age 66, of Largo, Florida, formerly of New Lenox, IL. Loving father of Kristin (Tony) Hofer, Lauren (Jake) Bowman, and Kyle (Ashley) Geary. Devoted son of Rosemary (nee Nowak) and the late James Geary. Proud Grandpa of Tony, Zack, Matt and Emily Hofer, Lenna, Kayleigh and Callen Bowman, and Roman and Oliver Geary. Dear brother of James (Kathleen) Geary and the late Robert Geary. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Debra DiFabritiis.

After retiring from his long-standing position as an Accountant for Metra Railroad in Chicago, Mike was proud to call the Sunshine State of Florida home. For the last decade, he enjoyed spending his days walking outside, gardening, soaking up the sun, swimming, eating delicious seafood, and relaxing at the beach. Mike cared deeply about his family, loved to travel, enjoyed remodeling, and could often be found listening to music or attending live music concerts. Mike was fun-loving, spontaneous, and never took life too seriously. He had a smile that could light up a room, which will be forever remembered and missed.

Family and friends will be received at St. Patricia Church 9000 S. 86th Avenue, Hickory Hills, IL on Saturday December 21st from 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
