Myrna Jacobson (nee Kincade), age 78, of Harvard, IL, formerly of LaGrange Highlands, died suddenly at her home. Beloved wife of the late David A. Jacobson. Loving mother of Christine, Barbara, and David (fiancé Cathy) Jacobson.  Proud grandmother of Kyle and Matthew Uribe, Tyler (fiancé Caitlin) and Courtney Welborn and Lucas Wallen.  She was the best grandma any grandchild could ever ask for.  She encouraged her grandchildren by attending all their major events, hobbies, and life choices by offering her support no matter how near or far away. She was a fond aunt of Deborah (Raymond) Burnham. Myrna loved traveling, eating out, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as a kind, caring, supportive, funny person who gave the best cooking advice!  Everyone enjoyed her famous fudge and apple pies that she shared all year round. She was an animal lover, especially dogs.  Preceded in death by parents Gilbert and Vera Marie (nee Perry) Kincade, siblings Mary, Gilbert William, Edward (Kristine) Kincade and Patricia (Samuel) Gholson. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Road, Westchester (2 blocks W of Mannheim Rd) on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 1:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. A Chapel service will begin at 3:00p.m, with prayer and reflection of Myrna's life. In lieu of flowers, friends and family that will be attending Myrna's services are asked to bring dog treats, food, blankets, toys, and cleaning supplies to the funeral home to be donated to local shelters.
