Nick Caldarulo of Westchester, age 89, passed away May 8, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family. Nick was born in Italy to Francesca and Giovanni Caldarulo. He emigrated from Italy to Chicago when he was 13 years old, attended St. Patrick's High School and then St. Mary's College, Winona, MN where he met lifelong friends. Nick met his wife, Sandra over 64 years ago. This June would have been their 59 ^th wedding anniversary. Their love and devotion to each other was the pride of their family.

Nick enjoyed golf, all Chicago sports teams, especially the Chicago Cubs and was a lifelong Notre Dame football fan.

Nick was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family was everything to him and they adored him. He lived his life for his family. He had a passion for cooking and loved grocery shopping and prepping dinners every night. Hosting family dinners brought him the most joy in life. He adored his two grandsons more than anything. Nick's impact on his grandchildren was immeasurable. They were each other's best friend and confidant. Nick will be greatly missed. His legacy will continue on through his grandsons.

Nick is survived by his wife Sandra; his daughters Fran (Alex) Mejino and Donna (Bill Strong); his grandchildren Jacob and Jon; dear friend Tony Partipilo and the late Joe Farinella who were like brothers to Nick and many dear cousins and friends.
