Noreen Bridget Fitzgerald, 75, passed away on February 5, 2026, in her longtime family home. A lifelong resident of Oak Park, Noreen attended Ascension School, Trinity High School, and Mount Mary University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in education.

Noreen dedicated nearly 50 years to teaching at Mother Theodore Guerin High School, later Guerin Prep High School, and retired upon the school's closing in 2020. She was dedicated to Catholic education and specialized in courses that helped prepare students for life, including foods, clothing, and life skills. She was instrumental in establishing a preschool within the Home Economics department.

She was the dear sister of the late Patrick Fitzgerald, the late Kathleen (Walter) Farrell, the late Dennis (Nancy) Fitzgerald and Jeremiah (Catherine) Fitzgerald. She was a devoted and loving aunt adored by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and a cherished friend to all the Fitzgerald and Shea cousins.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  All to meet Saturday at Ascension Church, 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass.
