Phyllis L. Osterman, nee Chopp, of West Chicago, age 81.  Beloved wife of Kenneth Sr.; loving mother of Kenneth Jr. (Trish), Daniel, Dawn Anderson, and Peggy; proud grandmother of Kori and Danielle; dear sister of the late Phil Chopp (Debbie); preceded in death by her loving parents Louis and Mae.

Phyllis was a creative, beautiful and strong woman.  She was very supportive to her family, a great listener who could always be counted on to give the best advice, even if it contained some hard truths.

She loved any kind of craft project and was talented with her sewing machine, making kids clothes, doll clothes, Halloween costumes and more.

She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and enjoyed feeding and watching birds daily.

She was a dedicated spectator at all of her kids' and grandkids' many events, as well as having 'Breakfast in the Park' with the grandkids. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday 9:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
