On Friday, April 28, 2023, Ralph Joseph Prus, cherished brother, son and uncle, passed away at the age of 61.

He received his Bachelor's Degree from Elmhurst College and was employed by AT&T for 18 yrs. Ralph decided to change careers and went back to school. He received his Master's Degree in Education from UNLV. He took a teaching position at Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. During a brief illness, he decided to retire and move back to Illinois. While missing the sun, he moved to Florida, bought a boat and started traveling abroad.

Ralph was known for his quick wit and his kind and generous personality.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Theodore and his mother, Rosetta (Mattioli) Prus. He is survived by his loving sisters, Dinahlee (Glen) Reading, Avis Prus, and Elaine (Rory) Speidel; nieces Roxanne (Jack) Pathavong and Rose (Jeremy) Hall; nephews Eric and Dennis Reading; great-nephew Wesley Hall; great nieces Kayla and Raya Reading; dear family friend, "Auntie" Sue Mason, and many cousins, aunts and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL 60154 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 10:00 a.m. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.
