Richard "Rich" Medina, age 61, of Downers Grove, passed away suddenly. Beloved wife and best friend of Mary Ellen (nee Klug) Medina. Loving father of Richard "Ricky" (Al) Medina, Jr. and Nicholas (Jessica) Medina. Devoted son of Eloisa (nee Galvan) and the late Antonio Medina. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Tyler and Allison. Dear brother of Ruben Medina, Carol (Raymond) Haehnel, Albert Medina, Antonio (Amy) Medina and Cindy (Nathan) Medina. Fond brother-in-law of Kathleen (Peter) Herbig and Tracy (John) Mixen. Cherished nephew of many aunts and uncles; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear cousin to many, and a friend to all. Rich was a longtime employee of AT&T and was a proud member of IBEW. Rich loved to travel and loved his wife and family beyond words can ever describe. Funeral services were held on Saturday September 21, 2024. Interment will remain private.
