Richard Reveles, age 44, of Riverside, IL passed away on Monday, October 13th, 2025, surrounded by family after his battle with cancer. Richard loved sports, music, animals, fishing, wrestling, shopping, shoes, and food especially. He also loved his work and was proud to be employed at the Cook County Sheriffs Department. Richard loved life, taking pleasure in the big moments, the small moments, and all of the in-between, and especially loved celebrating the holidays. To know Richard was to love him, as he was a social butterfly who enjoyed talking to people from all walks of life. Richard fought a valiant battle against cancer before succumbing to the disease. His two-year struggle was a testament to his strength and courage, and his fun-loving and gentle spirit will be deeply missed.

Richard Reveles was the beloved son of James and Marylou. Beloved grandson of Jane (the late Gerald) Taccola, and the late Francisco (the late Delfina) Reveles. Beloved brother to Monic, Stephanie, and (the late Jimmy). Beloved nephew, uncle, and cousin to many family members.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday 10:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 11:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
