Richard J. Rossi of Riverside, age 89, also known to close family and friends as "Richie," and U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of 60 years to Gloria, nee Lachnit; loving father of Steven (Kim) Rossi and Gina (Steve) Hamilton; proud grandfather of Rebecca and Mary Hamilton; dear brother of Joan Markese; preceded in death by his siblings Dominic, Frank, Edward, and Mary Rossi; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Rich was a proud member of the IBEW Local Union 134 and owned R&R Electric company for many years. He was an active member of the Italian American Club of Berwyn; and enjoyed horseback riding at Braveheart in Harvard, IL.  As a Veteran, he participated in the Golden Age Games. Most of all, Rich enjoyed spending time with his family. In his retirement years, Richard spent many hours at the zoo and eating ice cream with his granddaughters. He was a compassionate, patient, and selfless grandfather who attended all of his granddaughters' activities. Rich was always hard-working, willing to lend a hand to others, and enjoyed time with his family especially when watching the Chicago Cubs.

Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Saturday, March 15, 2025, for Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service 12:00 noon. Entombment at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery-Christ the King Mausoleum.
