A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest View Park located at 46th Street and Wenonah Avenue in Forest View, IL.

Ron Scaggs, age 65, of Forest View, Illinois went to be with the Lord on February 12. Ron was the Beloved husband of Susan (nee Morrow) Scaggs. Devoted Son of the late Harley Dean Scaggs, and the late Shirley (nee Bellavia) Scaggs. Stepson of Margaret Scaggs. Dear Brother of Cheryl (Michael) Bartik, Marsha (late James) Gaudio, Susan (Paul) Conley, and the late Kimberly Scaggs. He was the Proud Uncle of Roxann, Stephanie (late), Michael, James, Jeni, Jionna, Joshua, Racheal, and Taylor. Ron was the Great Uncle to Colin, Kaleb, James, and Dominic. He loved animals and will be dearly missed by his furry companions Bob, Gem, Jack, Nina, Scout, Tino, Willy, and Ziggy.

Ron was a passionate Martial Artist and accomplished instructor. He was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame for his outstanding skill in knife fighting. Ron enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping, and taking long walks with his wife and dogs. He proudly served his country as a Marine.

In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation and memorial services will be private.
