Thomas "Tom" Angelos passed away peacefully on December 17, 2023 at the age of 84 surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of 58 years to Mary Angelos nee Chiampas. Loving father of Jim (Cathy) Angelos, Pamela (Alex) Ziogas, Gia (Bill) Kostomiris. Proud Papou of Alexandra (Thomas J) Walsh, Ariana Ziogas, Louka Ziogas, Thomas Angelos, George Angelos, Dimitri Kostomiris and Kristina Kostomiris. Great Grandfather of Thomas A. Walsh. Devoted son of the late Dimitrios and Panagiota (nee Stamatopoulos).  Dear brother of the late Eugenia (Harry) Hontos and George (Toula) Angelos. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Theo Tom! Tom, with his big "Jolly" and infectious smile always lit up the room. He was a longtime restaurateur and past owner of Jolly's Restaurant in Lombard where everyone and all were welcomed by his kind, loving, and sweet demeanor. Tom was well known in the Greek community and was very proud of his Greek heritage, culture, Greek Orthodox faith and traditions. He loved to Greek dance anytime there was an opportunity, especially at family weddings. It was truly a joy to see the happiness and pride he felt while dancing. He was an avid gardener and loved to grow his family's favorite vegetables, especially tomatoes and cucumbers for his favorite Greek salad. He loved sharing his love for gardening with his grandchildren when they were young. After his retirement he loved meeting with old and new friends for coffee to visit, share stories and laugh.
